Custom Frame for 33 Ford 3 Window Coupe (Mark's Dream)
(SHORT STORY) We order a custom frame from a well known frame builder. When we started putting things together it was not what we ordered. After a month or so of talking with the builder. We started to redo the frame correctly for what the customer had ordered and wanted. It had to fit the custom BEAR FIBERGLASS body that was built to the customer's spec.
We cut the frame off where it had been narrowed, built custom kick-up rails to fit the body with 18" overlap to the main frame rails. Installed a HEIDT'S SUPER RIDE IRS system 3" higher then normal. This would lower the car's frame 3". The BEAR FIBERGLASS body had been built with the rear fender opening raised 3" and the inside trunk floor had also been raised for the kick-up rails and rear end crossmember.
HEIDT'S SUPER RIDE IRS System, Mounted 3'' Higher on the inside frame rails.
